Great Product and an Excellent Price from a Nice Company May 18, 2009

My wife and I (no my name isn't Homer) were looking for the perfect bench for our front porch, and we had some trouble finding one that would fit well. We came across this bench and from the pictures, decided it would work well for us. I found it a little tough to make a buying decision with no reviews for the item. Additionally, the price - along with the free shipping - seemed like too good of a deal. We called the company and asked a few additional questions about it. The customer service rep was friendly, knowledgeable, and was US based (i.e. spoke English well). We decided to order the bench (through Amazon, as the price was actually lower than going through the company directly), and are very happy we did.
The bench showed up very quickly, and was packaged very well. Although made in China this bench is well constructed and seems to be of good quality. Assembly took about 20 minutes, and the directions were well written - not like some other poorly translated instructions I've seen.
All in all, a good looking / functioning product from a good company.

My husband and I had looked everywhere in town for a nice gliding bench under $200 and couldn't find anything we liked. I found this bench on Amazon and while I was worried about making a large purchase like this without seeing it first, I just decided to do it. The free shipping was what finally made up my mind.
I am SO glad I did! Straight out of the box I could tell that the wood is of good quality. I applied an oil finish one day then put it together the next. It took me about 30 minutes to put together, but only because I was doing it myself - it would have been a bit quicker with two people, but it's not necessary to have two people.
Once together, I sprayed the bench with a water seal product, and it looks beautiful! I can't wait until my husband sees it, as it is a surprise for him. In addition to looking great, it glides very smooth.

I purchased this bench as a gift for my parents. I had purchased a similar bench about 7 years ago and given to them as a gift for the front porch of their home. The 7 years of weather was beginning to take its toll on the bench, and I began looking for a replacement. Their front porch is not very wide, and so a glider is perfect for the location. I was so glad to find this SunSetter classic glider bench. It was exactly what I was looking for, and was priced lower than all the competition - I looked at other wood benches and swings, as well as metal equivalents. The SunSetter bench is constructed well, and made it to my house in great condition. I would recommend this bench to anyone, and I am a very satisfied customer. I believe my parents are happy with the gift too.

This is a great bench glider at a wonderful price. We were thrilled to see that there was no charge for shipping when ordering from Amazon instead of the actual manufacturer. Shipping was super fast. We were a little hesitant, as was the UPS delivery man, when the box arrived in a very beaten state. But, nothing was damaged and all parts were there. All in all, we are very pleased with this glider and love our times of sitting on the front porch old school America style.

Great product for the money - stylish, well made and certainly reasonable. Paid about 1/3 the price of a comparible glider on the market. Well worth the money.
